Abstract

Novel cover glass for fingerprint authentication has been developed with a recessed area. Because fingerprint authentication sensor needs to shorten the distance between the sensor and the fingerprint. But it had two problems which are the surface strength of recessed area and the warpage of recessed area after chemical strengthening. The two problems have been solved by optimizing product process and using chemical strengthening simulation model.
