Abstract

This study aims to describe the representation of Javanese culture in the novel Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk by Ahmad Tohari. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method. The data obtained in the novel Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk by Ahmad Tohari. The data collection technique in this study is a literature review technique through six analytical techniques, namely understanding data sources by reading repeatedly, marking parts that are suspected of being research data, identifying data containing Javanese cultural values, classifying data according to the research problem. , separation of data units, and interpreting data. The results showed that in the novel Ronggeng Dukuh Paruk found three values ​​that represent Javanese culture, namely religious values, tolerance values, and accommodative values.
