EFEKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA ARAB DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN KITAB AL-MAHIR UNTUK MENCAPAI KOMPETENSI TOSA (TEST OF STANDARD ARABIC) MAHASISWA DI PUSAT PENGEMBANGAN BAHASA UIN RADEN MAS SAID SURAKARTA

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of learning Arabic with the Book al-Mahir in achieving TOSA competence (Test of Standard Arabic)). The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach, the subjects in this study were students of 2 nd semester UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta. The results of this study indicate that learning Arabic with the Kitab al-Mahir affects the achievement of TOSA competence (Test of Standard Arabic). The population of this research is 3460 students. Data were collected using a questionnaire. The selection of respondents was carried out by random sampling and was taken by 10% of the population, the respondents in this study were 346 students of UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta in 2019. To test for deviations in classical assumptions, tools with the SPSS 21 program were used. Based on the research results of 346 respondents through 10 statement items, resulting in that all items / statements are declared valid. Based on the results of research from 346 respondents through 10 statement items, it resulted that each statement was declared reliable. From the SPSS table, it is obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, so it can be concluded that the effectiveness of learning has an effect on TOSA competence with an R Square value of 0.966, which means that the effect is 96.6%.
