Abstract

This report discusses issues of software selection and terminology, and it highlights the particular terms that are useful in evaluation studies such as covered by the current series. A framework for the evaluation of educational software is presented. Glossaries of terminology relating to online collaborative methods are appended, as defined by the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD), and CNET Networks.
