Abstract

This article is based on bibliographical research to bring together the concepts of unity in diversity, equality of differences and intersectionality through a critical communicative analysis that points out paths for transformation, with the objective of greater educational quality for all people. The intention in the context of ethnic and racial relations in Brazil was to present educational differences that have been transformed into inequalities over the years, and, from such data, point out possibilities for change through anti-racist education. It was concluded that the categories of class, race and gender, when analyzed intersectionally, on the one hand, open paths for an educational action based on differences and their interrelationship, and, on the other hand, bring the possibility of changing the educational context as identities, cultures, ways of being are understood in their unity, with the intention of living them in equality.
