Abstract

Proponen una terminología fija de corotipos para el Paleártico. Presentan el mapa de cada corotipo. No indican cuál es el método estadístico usado para definir los corotipos. Define corotipo como: "indicate: "a recurrent type of merely geographical distribution. [...] defining categories based on the similarity of distribution patterns shared by a great number of species and thus statistically meaningful". No indican explicitamente que el corotipo tenga que incluir toda la distribución de la especie. Sin embargo, proponen corotipos para Italia sólo para especies endémicas.
