Abstract

Talent management is adopted within the organization for engaging the employees, hiring, retaining and developing the ultimate talent or special ability by the superior employees to perform the job in an effective manner. The objective of the study in the paper aims to identify the talent management strategies such as functional strategy and motivational strategies and to identify the factors for achieving the organizational goals in the IT sectors at Chennai city. The primary data collected from the 250 IT sector employees are analyzed by the statistical tools by way of ‘t’ test, Factor Analysis by Principal Component Method, Multiple regression analysis and One way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) is applied to ascertain the significant relationship between various talent management strategies of the IT sector employees and personal variables of employees. The findings and suggestions are based on the results.
