Abstract

The concept of disinformation, and specifically that of disinformation strategies, has been gaining notoriety in public debate. Its multidimensional nature and massive use has prevented a unitary and consensual definition. In this framework, the aim of this article focuses on delimiting the term by examining the bases that favour disinformation, the ecosystem that makes it possible and possible solutions. Finally, future lines of work for the study of this phenomenon are proposed.
