Uma avaliação do Programa de Aceleração do Crescimento (PAC) no estado da Bahia (2007-10)

Abstract

The article reviews the development of the main infrastructure aspects (logistics, energy and social and urban) of the Growth Acceleration Program (PAC) in the period 2007 to 2010. The problem of the study was: how did the PAC contribute to the development of Bahia State? The article demonstrates, through quantitative data, the impact and performance of the PAC for the development of Bahia To realize this quantitative approach, information was extracted from secondary data. It is concluded that on average 76,93% of PAC projects Bahia have not been finalized, but even so, when you correlate it to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), using a regression analysis, before, during and after the year 2007 by 2010, its influence and interference was found in the process of regional development of Bahia.
