Abstract
Flood occurs several times in Kali Madiun Watershed caused by the overflow of Kali Madiun. The overflow of Kali Madiun is caused by high rainfall and land use changes in a watershed. It results in flood discharge more than its capacity. Because of the problem, hydrology analysis is needed to predict Kali Madiun watershed discharge data by using rainfall-runoff transformation model. This research uses HEC-HMS model. To be able to imitate the flow in watershed system, HEC-HMS model requires parameter adjustment model called calibration. Calibration is done to the parameter model by evaluating the similarities of simulation results and observation data. Because of this reason, a realibility test of HEC-HMS model is carried out. The purpose of this research is to compare the simulation discharge with observation discharge of Kali Madiun watershed. The data required are observation discharge data, capacity reservoir data, rainfall data, land use map, soil type map, and topography map. It is found that the result of NSE value of HEC-HMS calibration model is 0.605 with the simulation peak discharge of 914.4 m 3 /s which happened on February 22, 2018.
