Abstract

He set a target to determine how solar radiation affects the generation of electricity in the city of Huancayo, using a power generation system based on a Stirling engine. The characteristics of solar energy described in these coordinates of the center of Peru and the characteristics of conversion of solar radiation into electrical energy. For the development of this research use the design method of experimental investigation, a power generation system based on the design of a solar collector cylinder, which applies thermal energy to a Stirling engine to generate electricity was implemented, it analyzed each stage of these processes, performance tests and thermal power generation, mechanical and electrical energy with the experiments performed. As a result it was possible to implement a power generation module having solar energy as a source; This is possible to obtain experimental results from the entry of solar radiation, temperature, concentration in focus, generating mechanical energy which generates an electrical output potential according to their own characteristics and engine generator Stirling in themselves to solar radiation of the geographical area of study conditions. In conclusion, the implementation of the electricity generation system has allowed the Stirling system having an integrated system with its processes analyzed, which allowed us to evaluate the values of electrical potential that solar energy provides us with experimental conditions in this geographic region of study.
