A non-experimental, cross-sectional and exploratory study was conducted with a nonrandom selection of 120 migrant workers from a town in the State of Mexico in order to establish the reliability and validity of an instrument which measured eight dimensions of occupational health. From the estimation of parameters of reliability and validity alpha = 0.771; 2 = 135.23 (35gl) p = 0.000; KMO = 0.793 23% and 20% of the variance explained for the first and second factor significant positive correlations between variables that explain occupational health made up expectations with expected literacy opportunities (r = 0.687 were found; p = 0.001), the latter with capacities (r = 0.667; p < 0.05) and these with SWB (r = 0.578; p < 0.05). From the literature review including valuation standards and four logical variables that explain routes warns occupational health.
