Vochysiaceae in biological reserve of Poço das Antas, Silva Jardim, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Abstract

A study of the family Vochysiaceae in Biological Reserve of Poço das Antas, Silva Jardim, Rio de Janeiro, is presented. Three species are found in the area: Qualea jundiahy Warm., Vochysia bifalcata Warm. and V. gummifera Warm. A key to the taxa and descriptions are provided, as well as informations about their phenology and geographical distribution. The taxa are illustrated as to habit.
