Abstract
This article explores the backgrounds of the new paradigm of digital memory emerging in digital preservation and presentation of cultural heritage field. It highlights some of the conceptual work that frames the new paradigm. We believe this new paradigm can bring together the main theoretical areas under consideration for the future development of cultural heritage.
