Peranan Akhlak dalam Kehidupan: Tinjauan Wacana Akhlak Islam

Abstract

The significant of moral roles in the life of a person, society and nation, has created healthy Islamic religious discourse of moral issues among Muslims thinkers. This article discusses Islamic religious discourse among scholars, intellectuals, and moralist in relation to the role of morality in human life. The method of study is a qualitative study with data collection based on library research. The results of the discourse are taken for discussion, analysis, and evaluation. The main focus of this article is to highlight the role of morality in human life encompassing its role in individuals, societies, families, and nations. This article finds the role of moral character is to leads to the same purpose, namely to seek the pleasure of God and to gain happiness in the world and in the hereafter. Thus, Islamic morality is a part and partial of the human character as well as to build a perfect man. In this contexts it is crystal clear, without proper morality human character, human being will be degraded to the nature of the animal
