Abstract

A novel concept of fabrication electrical connectors for joining implantable electrode arrays and implantable electronic units is introduced. Although the concept potentially permits the realisation of some 10 channels per connector, a simple prototype with only 5 channels was fabricated to begin with and its electromechanical specifications were determined. © 2013 by Walter de Gruyter.
