Abstract

Throughout the summer and autumn, Bardsey Island's Choughs feed preferentially at upland sites, notably in areas with short (2-3 cm tall) vegetation. Birds also feed (on dung beetles) in lowland pasture in autumn, while in winter an area of sandy beach is particularly important to them. © 1983 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
