Abstract

The article presents a case study which examines the importance of motivation on the improvement of writers' works. It highlights a scenario wherein a doctoral student in education regains excitement for her writing and research due to the interest showed by her partner in a writing center to her works. It concludes that motivation can be a powerful force for writers to avoid external pressures and manage their time for writing effectively.
