Abstract
Burnout is a significant issue among radiologists, driven by high workloads, cognitive overload, and prolonged screen time. Chronic stress negatively impacts well-being, efficiency, and patient care. This article explores mindfulness and the relaxation response as effective strategies for helping to mitigate stress and enhance resilience. By incorporating simple yet powerful practices such as relaxation response, mindful breathing, body scanning, and grounding techniques, radiologists can improve focus, emotional regulation, and decrease burnout. When mindfulness becomes part of a daily routine, it not only supports personal well-being, but also promotes greater professional satisfaction and resilience.
