A very useful articlewhich a) reviews continental influences on the New Homiletic; b) looks at weaknesses and criticism of New Homiletics; and c) considers some of the more recent trends in the 'turn to the listener' under the impact of post-modern critiques. Ottoni-Wilhelm sees the relationship between theology and preaching as key and argues that in post-Christendom the sermon must teach the fundamentals of the faith.
