Abstract
President George Bush enters office at a point when the environmental systems that support the global economy are deteriorating at a record pace. Restoring progress will require international initiatives and US leadership, and the authors look at US and international policies and agendas towards producing a climate-sensitive policy, reforesting the earth, reversing the decline in food security and slowing population growth. -after Authors
