Abstract

We propose a memory-in-pixel (MIP) circuit to reduce the power consumption of liquid crystal displays (LCDs). With the property of ferroelectric TFT (FeTFT), a simple structure with low operating frequency is achieved. Its feasibility is confirmed by SPICE simulation. © 2014 Society for Information Display.
