Abstract

The rapid progress of the economy, organizations, and government agencies make human resources a very important element for the progress of the organization in terms of human resources such as work compliance, effectiveness, and performance and Discipline will be useful for an organization in government if it is led by a leader so that it can achieve organizational goals. Work discipline in organizational effectiveness has aimed to direct the behavior of subordinates with several rules that support its achievement purpose. which analyzes the influence of leadership and communication on work effectiveness. The sample is 155 employees of the Lhokseumawe City Government using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and AMOS-20 (Analysis of Moment Structure) analysis tools. The results showed that leadership and communication had a significant influence on the work effectiveness of the Lhokseumawe City Government employees. A formulation of the problem in this research is: leadership affects what is being implemented by the employer according to the employee's perception on the shoulders of the city government, how effectiveness of employees working on the shoulders of the municipality, how much influence leadership effectiveness of employees in the research method used in this case, in this research uses a descriptive research method. descriptive method of qualitative research aims to describe and understand carefully the phenomena that will be made in the research for hypothesis testing purpose or to answer research questions and as a tool to control the variables that influence research. The results of this study include: communication, responsibility, coaching, and motivation.
