Crystal structure of dimethyl 2-[(1,3-dioxo-1,3-dihydro-2H-isoindol-2-yl)oxy]-2-butenedioate

Abstract

The crystal structure of dimethyl 2-[(1,3-dioxo-1,3-dihydro-2H-isoindol-2-yl)oxy]-2-butenedioate is monoclinic, space group P21/c with a = 7.9785(16), b = 24.801(6), c = 7.9550(16)Å, β = 118.904(13)° and Z = 4. The crystal structure was solved by direct methods and refined by full-matrix least squares to final values of R1 = 0.0567 and wR2 = 0.0884 with 1927 reflections (I > 2σ(I)). 2007 © The Japan Society for Analytical Chemistry.
