Abstract

Reports results of excavations in 1978 at Knud Peninsula and Skraeling Island. The results are presented in chronological sequence: 1) Arctic small tool tradition; 2) Arctic whale hunting tradition. The finds indicate the importance of the region in terms of the culture and history of the High Arctic.-J.Clayton
