Some practical aspects of column base selection

Abstract

This article reviews three methods which can be used effectively to prepare a landing site for the erection of a column: 1. Leveling plates 2. Leveling nuts 3. Preset base plates Anchor bolt selection, and grouting techniques are discussed.
