Abstract

This article is the result of an investigation which aims analyze the expectations of students, professors and managers in teacher evaluation of an institution of higher education. The theoretical foundation is guided from a literature review addressing the difficulties and potentialities about the topic studied. Regarding the methodological procedures, beyond the descriptive character, the investigation adopted the qualitative and quantitative approach, seeking the integration of the two approaches by triangulation among methods, using the combination of semi-structured interviews with the questionnaire to collect data. Results showed that there are weaknesses in the evaluative protocol investigated, well as at the heartwood of stakeholders' expectations is the urgency of raising the efficiency of forms and uses of results from the evaluation of professors based on students' opinions.
