Abstract

Powder - Powder Metallurgy is increasingly becoming important technology. The reason for this is the increased demand for materials with specific functions by advanced technologies. Of the many powder-producing processes, this review specifically discusses metal powder production processes. Depending upon a metal's properties, different mechanical and chemical processes are widely used in producing powder. More precise control of powder characteristics is presently desired and it is believed that it may be attainable in the near future.
