Abstract

Reamputation above the knee after failure of primary below-knee amputation was related to the distal blood pressure. With pressures of 20, 30 and 40 mmHg, two-thirds, one-third and one-seventh, respectively, of the below-knee amputations required reamputation above the knee. © 1979 Informa UK Ltd All rights reserved: reproduction in whole or part not permitted.
