Abstract
A comparison of calculated and experimental data (Hamada indexes) for nanotubes, processed by microwave heating, is made. It is shown that, for the last layer in the multi-wave carbon nanotubes, experimental and theoretical data are very close. For intermediate layers, an application of more precise mathematical tools needed. This is related to the presence of nearby layers, affecting theoretical calculation of nanotube diameters. © 2007 IEEE.
