Abstract

In this paper, a microstrip Gysel power divider with improved isolation bandwidth is presented. The design procedure of the proposed power divider has been described in detail. For verification, two experimental circuits operating at 2GHz with power splitting ratio of 1:1 and 2:1, respectively, have been designed, simulated and measured. The measured results exhibit a bandwidth of 60% based on isolation better than 15dB, which is obviously enhanced compared with that of traditional Gysel power divider.
