Abstract

As it appears today as the symbol of freedom for everyone and the assertion instrument to subjectivity, work doesn't allow the subject to own himself: for some individuals, "worker" status includes the hole identity. That's why we talk about dependence to work or addiction to work, to emphasize how work instead of being in the service of self achievement can become the occasion and the cause of self exhaustion.
