Abstract

Deposition of Cu2CoSnS4 (CCTS) thin films from molecular ink by simple dip-coating is reported. Molecular ink consists of metal-thiourea complex dissolved in methanol. Shiny brown-black films are obtained by thermolysing the precursor films at 200 °C in air for 20 min. X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy confirmed the formation of pure stannite CCTS. Films are smooth and continues. The molecular ink may be used for direct liquid coating of CCTS as absorber layer for solar cells.
