Abstract

No bojo do capitalismo pós-industrial, as estratégias do audiovisual contemporâneo têm, progressivamente, investido na construção e intensificação de efeitos de real cada vez mais pregnantes, como indica a proliferação de vídeos-flagrantes, reality shows, imagens amadoras e acontecimentos não-ficcionais incorporados pela teledramaturgia, dentre tantas manifestações cinematográficas. Essas operações narrativas, junto às dinâmicas do capital, têm deslocado a vida cotidiana e a experiência estética para o centro de seus investimentos, apelando constantemente à “realidade” e a uma experiência de impactante “autenticidade”.In the wake of post-industrial capitalism, contemporary audiovisual strategies have progressively turned to the creation and build-up of ever more disseminated reality effects, as is shown by the proliferation of hidden-camera videos, reality shows, amateur video footage and a series of non-fictional events incorporated into TV drama, among so many other cinematic manifestations.
