Capitalist control and workers’ struggle in the Brazilian auto industry

Abstract

A case study of the largest industrial concentration in Latin America, this work shows how the unique situation of auto workers led them to articulate demands relevant for the whole working class. By exploring a concrete situation in two specific plants, the author clarifies the nature of work in modern industry. Originally published in.
