Strategi Komunikasi BKKBN Provinsi Banten Dalam Menanggulangi Stunting di Desa Bayumundu, Pandeglang

Abstract

Lack of public awareness of the high prevalence of stunting makes the government carry out the National Movement for the Prevention through BKKBN. Pandeglang Regency is a stunting intervention area, one of which is the village of Bayumundu. BKKBN of Banten Province has created a program of optimizing the care of the First 1000 Days of Life (HPK) through outreach activities. The purpose of this research was to find out how the communication strategy of the BKKBN of Banten Province in Promoting the 1000 HPK Optimization Program to Overcome Stunting in Bayumundu Village Pandeglang. The focus of this research is to find is how the introduction of audiences, strategies for composing messages, strategies for using communication methods, and media selection (Anwar Arifin). The research method used is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Researchers collect data by interview, observation, and documentation. The results of this research BKKBN of Banten Province are (1) introduced audiences based on characteristics and types of target audiences. (2) compiled messages by paying attention to language, religious values, community knowledge and the environment. (3) conveyed communication messages with informative and educational methods. (4) selected and uses media adapted to the type of audience, namely general and special audiences
