Abstract
Pyrazolines are nitrogen-containing five-membered heterocyclic scaffolds that have attracted considerable interest in medicinal chemistry due to their diverse antioxidant, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antimicrobial, antimalarial, anticonvulsant, antitumor, and antidiabetic activities. The presence of this moiety in several marketed drugs against various diseases has proved its significance in the pharmaceutical industry. The present review summarizes the recent progress of pyrazoline against cancer and inflammation. The information will benefit researchers in their study as it will provide new ideas for rational drug development strategies for more effective pyrazoline derivatives as anticancer and anti-inflammatory agents.
