Graphical Abstract We developed a method for rapid analysis of the properties of new hERG channel variants that is helpful for clinicians to diagnose an arrhythmia and help counseling the patient. This method is rapid enough to provide a complete set of channel properties and will set the stage for a more extensive characterization in the future.
