Abstract

Acute poisonings with psychostimulating drugs are frequent in modern society. Cocaine is a fairly common drug that has a powerful stimulating effect on the central nervous system, as well as a local anesthetic effect. This lecture is devoted to the problem of cocaine intoxication and its treatment at the prehospital and hospital stages.
