Abstract

Synthetic studies on bioactive compounds are described, involving phytotoxins (tobacco wildfire disease toxin tabtoxinine-β-lactam and rice blast disease toxin pyricuol) a glutarimide antibiotic (actiketal) black vomit toxin (gizzerosine) and marine products (antifeedant pteroenone and serinol compound didemniserinolipid).
