Abstract

In summary, this case may suggest considering the differential diagnosis of 'primary nephroangiosclerosis' also in young, normotensive patients, and it calls for attention to the possible facilitating effect of diabetes per se, eventually enhanced by cigarette smoking. © The Author [2005].
