Abstract

Wouldn't it make life easier if people could communicate with a management information system in everyday language? In fact, there are already available a number of systems that allow users to do this with MISs that retrieve and display stored data and perform simple calculations. But what about being able to converse naturally with MISs that contain decision models?. © 1984, ACM. All rights reserved.
