FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PERMINTAAN BERAS DI KABUPATEN ACEH SINGKIL

Abstract

ABSTRACTRice is the staple food of the majority of the Indonesian population, especially in Aceh Singkil Regency. Therefore, the demand for rice increases every year following the increase in population. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the demand for rice in Aceh Singkil Regency, collecting data using secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Aceh Singkil Regency and other related agencies from 2005-2020. The analytical method applied in this research is multiple regression. The results showed that simultaneously the correlation analysis obtained a termination coefficient (R2) of 0.996, meaning that the variables of rice price, corn price and population were able to explain the variation that occurred in the amount of rice demand. Simultaneously, the variables of rice price, corn price and population have a significant effect on the amount of rice demand with F value = 1.022 while F table = 0.05 = 3.49; and Ftable = 0.01 = 5.95. While partially, only the population has a significant effect on the amount of rice demand in Aceh Singkil Regency Keywords: Rice, Request, Price, Total population  ABSTRACTBeras merupakan makanan pokok mayoritas penduduk Indonesia, khususnya di Kabupaten Aceh Singkil. Maka dari itu, jumlah permintaan beras dari tahun ke tahun meningkat mengikuti jumlah penambahan penduduk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi permintaan beras di Kabupaten Aceh Singkil, pengumpulan data menggunakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kabupaten Aceh Singkil dan Dinas terkait lainnya mulai tahun 2005-2020. Metode analisis yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara serempak analisis korelasi diperoleh koefesien diterminasi (R2) sebesar 0,996, artinya variabel harga beras, harga jagung dan jumlah penduduk mampu menjelaskan variasi yang terjadi terhadap jumlah permintaan beras. Secara serempak variable harga beras, harga jagung dan jumlah penduduk berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah permintaan beras dengan nilai F = 1.022 sedangkan F tabel α = 0,05 = 3,49; dan Ftabel α = 0,01 = 5,95. Sedangkan secara parsial, hanya   jumlah penduduk yang berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap jumlah permintaan beras di Kabupaten Aceh Singkil. Kata Kunci: Beras, Permintaan, Harga, Jumlah Penduduk.
