Abstract

Water quality analysis is essential for assessing the safety and suitability of water for various uses, including drinking, agriculture, and industrial purposes. This study focuses on evaluating the physical, chemical, and biological parameters of water samples collected from different sources to determine their quality status. Parameters such as pH, turbidity, dissolved oxygen (DO), biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), chemical oxygen demand (COD), total dissolved solids (TDS), and the presence of heavy metals and microbial contaminants were analyzed. The results are compared against standard guidelines provided by organizations like the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The findings highlight potential sources of pollution, the need for regular monitoring, and suggest remedial measures to ensure water safety and environmental sustainability.
