Abstract

We report experimental demonstration of photovoltaic effect in nanocomposite amorphous silicon p-i-n junction comprising a thin film of lead selenide (PbSe) nanocrystals deposited on a p -type crystalline silicon wafer and overcoated with n -type layer of hydrogenated amorphous silicon. © 2008 American Institute of Physics.
