Infección materna, preeclampsia temprana y sepsis neonatal: ¿Secuencia o casualidad?

Abstract

Review article through literature search in English and Spanish in the main databases of health sciences: Pubmed, Ovid, Ebsco host and Elsevier. The most relevant and preferably references with a publication time of less than five years were selected, the oldest were pioneering articles on the subject often cited in the other references. Revision and original articles were chosen. The objective is to review the relationship of amniotic infection with the origin of preeclampsia and neonatal sepsis. Abbreviations: PRE-E, preeclampsia.Artículo de revisión mediante búsqueda de literatura en inglés y español en las principales bases de datos de ciencias de la salud: Pubmed, Ovid, Ebsco host y Elsevier. Se seleccionaron las referencias más relevantes y de preferencia con un tiempo de publicación inferior a cinco años, las de mayor antigüedad fueron artículos pioneros en la temática a menudo citados en las demás referencias. Se escogieron artículos de revisión y originales. El objetivo es revisar la relación de la infección amniótica con el origen de la preeclampsia y la sepsis neonatal. Abreviaturas: PRE-E, preeclampsia.
