Abstract

Time management is a key element in artistic training. In this sense, the resulting procrastination is decisive in the students' day to day. This research analyzes the relationship between procrastination and personality factors obtain through the BIG FIVE Inventory (BFI-10) in a sample of 887 students. The data affected a significant negative relationship of procrastination with three of the five personality factors, specifically: Responsibility (r = -.426; p =.000), cordiality (r = -.153; p =.000) and extraversion (r = -.103; p =.003). On the other hand, it has no correlation either with neuroticism (r =.022; p =.538), nor with openness to experience (r =.033; p =.346).
