Abstract

Presents 2 methods of predicting tree dimensions in a Pinus sylvestris stand if only the locations of trees are known. The first method predicts the tree diameters from the spatial location of neighbors. In the second method the diameter distribution of a subarea is estimated from the local stand density. -from Author
