Abstract

The article discusses the importance of the development of the Russian agro-industrial sector, disclosing the export potential of the grain complex of the Russian Federation by improving the logistics infrastructure of the grain market, substantiates the need to create a multifunctional transport and logistics center, a logistics terminal / park (hub), which is a nodal multimodal center at the intersection of federal chains supplies, international trade flows on the example of the international airport "Gagarin"(Saratov). The paper gives an example of the structure of a large logistics center, the infrastructure of which is distinguished by the complexity and variety of facilities and includes not only warehouses, but also production facilities, cargo terminals for handling and temporary storage of goods, service facilities, repair shops for freight vehicles, railway or river cargo terminal, customs, container terminal complex and other elements necessary for the organization of uninterrupted cargo flow.
