Abstract

Ransomware attacks have emerged as one of the most significant cybersecurity threats facing organizations and individuals in the digital age. This paper presents a comprehensive analysis of current trends in ransomware attacks, examining the evolution of tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) employed by threat actors. Through a systematic review of recent literature, analysis of notable ransomware campaigns, and insights from cybersecurity experts, we identify key trends including the rise of Ransomware-as-a-Service (RaaS) models, the adoption of double extortion techniques, and the increasing targeting of critical infrastructure.
